Mastiha is a liqueur flavoured with mastic, a resin obtained from the mastic tree which is also known as “tears of Chios”, as it is traditionally produced on Chios Island.
Makryonitis Syros Distillery wanted a visual identity for their product Mastiha. Mastiha’s visual identity was aimed to have a simple, clear and fresh design to fit the basic products of the distillery, tsipouro and ouzo. It was inspired by the complex shape of mastic tears and the color palette was chosen to fit the color palette of the brand.
